West Star Aviation is seeking an Embraer Lead Aircraft Maintenance Technician in Chattanooga, TN. This full-time, on-site role requires leading a team of technicians to deliver high-quality maintenance and repairs on aircraft programs, with strong problem-solving and project management skills.

Ideal candidates have an Airframe and Powerplant license, a high school diploma or equivalent, and 8+ years in aviation maintenance including 4+ years on program airframes.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the team to complete required jobs with good judgement and escalation as needed.
• Coordinate and turnover work to the next shift.
• Identify opportunities to reduce aircraft turn time.
• Train/mentor technicians on projects.
• Supervise team members and manage daily workload.
• Perform general mechanical tasks on aircraft and related systems.
• Troubleshoot and evaluate aircraft systems when designated.
• Inspect and evaluate aircraft and components as needed.
• Coordinate aircraft movements and taxying when required.
• Maintain shop facilities and tooling to support operations.
• Communicate effectively with customers on project management and support.
