Job summary

ACET is seeking an H-1 Airframes/Hydraulics Mechanics (CDI) at MCAS New River in Jacksonville, NC. You will serve as CDI and perform routine maintenance, inspections, corrosion control, and repairs on airframes, hydraulics, and sub-systems, ensuring flight readiness.

Requirements include 5+ years aviation experience, 3+ years rotary wing, and CDI experience on USMC UH-1/AH-1; must be U.S. citizen with CAC eligibility and capable of passing background checks.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years aviation experience.
• 3+ years rotary wing aviation experience.
• Collateral Duty Inspector on USMC UH-1 or AH-1 (6154 MOS).
• High school diploma or GED.
• US Citizenship with CAC eligibility.
• Able to read and interpret aircraft manuals and drawings.
• Knowledge of proper use of hand tools in aircraft maintenance.
• Operational knowledge of aircraft systems and components.
• Ability to read complex engineering drawings and use gauges.
• Proficient with OOMA after assignment.

Responsibilities

• Serve as CDI from Airframes MOS 6154 during contract duration.
• Perform routine aircraft maintenance and inspect hydraulic systems.
• Maintain aircraft hydraulic and structural systems.
• Inspect aircraft, components, parts and systems for quality and safety.
• Conduct on-site equipment and tools inspections for quality control.
• Complete maintenance documentation accurately using OOMA and forms.
