Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 2+ years of experience on military aircraft or equivalent.
• FAA Airframe & Power Plants (A&P) certification may be substituted by civilian experience.
• Ability to read and interpret manufacturers' manuals, service bulletins, and technical data.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots malfunctions in aircraft structure, landing gear, flight surfaces and controls.
• Repairs, replaces, and rebuilds airframe components and related systems using hand/power tools, rivet gun, and drills.
• Performs inspections and maintenance per MRC, NAVAIR manuals, and NAMP directives.
• Assists with corrosion control, surface prep, masking, and paint touch‑ups.
• Maintains records in the aircraft logs and uses OOMA for maintenance documentation.
