Job summary

American Airlines is seeking a senior Planner Supervisor to lead the Planning Team within the Integrated Operations Team. You will oversee Planners, coordinate with Maintenance and other Technical Operations departments, and ensure an executable bill of work while considering out-of-service and critical aircraft.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent and at least 3 years in aircraft maintenance planning, with the ability to manage shifts and a 24/7 environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience/training.
  • 3 years experience in Aircraft Maintenance Planning environment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership, direction, and development to Planners.
  • Assist with defining strategy, goals, objectives and requirements for the department.
  • Ensure Planners determine the most effective actions for serviceability and maintenance execution.
  • Manage employee schedules, overtime, and OSHA reports.
  • Administer collective bargaining agreement processes.
  • Lead the workforce and evaluate performance.
  • Conduct probationary progress reviews for new staff.
