Job summary

West Star Aviation is seeking a Lead Maintenance Inspector in Dallas, TX to lead quality control and release of aircraft after maintenance. You’ll ensure compliance with FAA regs, repair station procedures, and customer maintenance programs while coordinating with technicians and support staff.

The role requires an A&P license (Airframe and Powerplant) or Repairman Certificate, a high school diploma, and hands-on experience with inspection equipment. Strong English communication is essential.

Qualifications

• Must have FAA/repair station knowledge or equivalent regulatory understanding.
• Experience with inspection equipment and visual inspection aids.
• Strong English communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Review technician assignments and sign-offs for adherence to Authorizations.
• Perform frontline inspections to ensure compliance with AMM, RSQCM, and customer guidelines.
• Verify Repair Station RQC and Operators RII requirements are properly identified and documented.
• Coordinate with tech support and communicate release decisions to customers.
