Job summary

West Star Aviation is seeking a Lead Maintenance Inspector in Los Angeles, CA. This full-time, on-site role requires strong FAA knowledge and experience overseeing technician activities and sign-offs.

Responsibilities include front-line inspections, MEL verification, final aircraft walk-arounds, and clear customer communication. An A&P license or Repairman Certificate is required along with proficient English.

Qualifications

• A&P license or Repairman Certificate is required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be able to read and interpret technical data in English.

Responsibilities

• Review technician assignments and sign offs to ensure adherence to authorizations.
• Perform front line inspections to verify compliance with AMM and customer GMM.
• Verify MEL procedures and ensure proper documentation.
• Conduct aircraft final walk-around and release to customer.
• Communicate clearly with customers via email or phone.
