Job summary

West Star Aviation Inc. is seeking a Lead Maintenance Inspector in West Palm Beach, FL. You will manage quality control tasks and ensure compliance with West Star's RSQCM, AMM, and FAA regulations, guiding technicians and coordinating inspections.

This role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, an A&P license or Repairman Certificate, and strong English communication. You will perform final walk-arounds, release-to-customer, and ensure proper use of current technical data.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Airframe and Powerplant License or Repairman Certificate required.
• Proven experience in maintenance quality control in aviation.

Responsibilities

• Review technician assignments and sign offs for adherence to authorizations.
• Perform front line spot checks per AMM/RSQCM/GMM guidelines.
• Ensure Repair Station RQC and Operators RII requirements are identified, inspected and documented.
• Conduct engine run/taxi qualification for relevant technicians.
• Verify MEL procedures and operational checks are followed per MQB guidelines.
• Perform final walk-around and release of aircraft to customer.
• Ensure up-to-date technical data is used (M manuals, SBs, specs).
• Follow WSA RSQCM procedures and proper tagging/inspection of parts.
• Coordinate distributed customer requests with proper tech support.
