Qualifications

• Thorough knowledge of DOD, HQ Air Force, Joint, and HQ AMC policies, principles, concepts, guidance, procedures, techniques, and methodologies pertaining to Air Transportation functions across the Mobility Air Force (MAF) Enterprise.
• Skill to independently apply a full range of analytical and evaluative methods to plan, coordinate, and evaluate logistics program planning and programming.
• Knowledge of existing automated transportation and logistics support systems such as GATES, CMOS, and ICODES.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct nonsupervisory employees; plan, organize, and exercise control over their work.
• Provide command level staff guidance on global movement of passengers and cargo within the Defense Transportation System (DTS).
• Communicate clearly and effectively in writing and orally to support logistics operations and policy implementation.
