Apple is seeking an AI Security Engineer in Seattle, WA, to lead deep security reviews of AI deployments, agents, and related platforms. You will collaborate with AI architecture, security engineering, privacy, SRE, and design review teams to strengthen detection capabilities and governance.

The role emphasizes reducing obscure AI risks, building repeatable testing frameworks, and delivering actionable security improvements with a metrics-driven approach.

Qualifications

6+ years in information security field or software engineering; 2+ years conducting security reviews
1+ year reviewing AI deployments such as MCPs and Agents
2+ years manually reviewing source code to find vulnerabilities

Responsibilities

Enumerate risks, plan reviews, and execute those reviews to identify vulnerabilities and improvements
Be a technical expert in obscure risks within AI deployments and platforms
Lead security testing methodologies for AI Agents and MCPS
Develop proof-of-concept systems to automate security recommendations and workflows
Identify areas ripe for improvement and establish security goals
