Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity or related field.
• 10 years of security engineering experience focused on testing modern application stacks.
• Experience with security testing of cloud services (e.g. AWS, GCP).
• Proficient in Python with hands-on experience across Linux and macOS environments.
• Ability to explain basic networking concepts (routing, ACL, load balancers, SSL/TLS, TCP) for architecture feedback.
• Background in web application development and/or code auditing.

Responsibilities

• Assess platform and product security risks through architecture reviews and testing of cloud deployments.
• Document risk assessments and remediation guidance for developers and business owners.
• Develop automated tooling to optimize security scanning and testing, leveraging AI.
• Lead projects and collaborate with security and engineering teams across Apple.
