Job summary

MetLife is recruiting a Sr. AI & Agentic Security Architect to define, govern, and secure MetLife’s enterprise AI ecosystem.

You will establish the Agentic Security Control Plane and enable safe, scalable AI adoption across global operations. You will partner with AI platform engineering, MLOps, DevOps, IAM and security teams to embed security into AI development, build threat models, and drive governance, risk management, and regulatory readiness.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of overall experience in security and AI domains.
• Experience designing and implementing enterprise AI security, governance and risk programs.
• Hands-on experience building AI security controls and AI asset discovery capabilities.
• Knowledge of AI security frameworks (NIST AI RMF, MITRE ATLAS, OWASP AI guidance).
• Experience securing AI apps and agentic systems in cloud environments.
• Strong cloud and security architecture background with risk assessment skills.
• Ability to influence decisions and communicate with engineers and executives.

Responsibilities

• Build security controls governing agent permissions, tool access and inter-agent trust.
• Define threat models for LLM-based systems aligned to OWASP and MITRE frameworks.
• Own enterprise AI security posture management and asset inventory visibility.
• Lead Shadow AI discovery across networks, cloud, APIs and endpoints.
• Embed security benchmarks into CI/CD across AI development lifecycle.
• Serve as technical authority on AI security and publish architecture guidance.
• Collaborate with AI platform engineering, MLOps, DevOps, IAM and regional teams.
