Job summary

EY is seeking a Principal Architect for AI & Security in the United States to lead AI protection architecture across agents, copilots, and data products. You will translate business needs into scalable security architectures and drive protection patterns aligned with enterprise goals.

You will partner with engineering, product, data, and platform teams to embed AI protection into delivery, govern Secure-by-Design principles, and guide technology selection with Zero Trust and identity security at

Qualifications

• 15+ years in IT, cybersecurity, or related tech domains.
• 7+ years architecture experience for enterprise-scale platforms.
• 5+ years in AI-related development including security architecture.

Responsibilities

• Lead AI protection architecture for AI agents, copilot, GenAI applications, and data-driven AI products.
• Act as a senior architecture lead for AI protection, driving strategy and security design decisions.
• Establish and govern standards across risk management, business continuity, and cybersecurity platforms.
• Define UX/UI, workflow, and integration standards across strategic platforms.
• Define secure-by-design, Zero Trust, identity, data protection, and monitoring controls for AI platforms.
• Lead architecture reviews, threat modeling, control mapping, and risk assessments for AI-enabled solutions.
• Partner with Security and Technology teams to embed AI protection into delivery processes.
• Design and govern AI protection capabilities across Microsoft Security, Purview, Defender, Sentinel, and related platforms.
• Develop AI protection standards, reference architectures, reusable patterns, and roadmaps.
• Present AI protection strategy and architecture recommendations to senior leadership.
