Job summary

RiseMe is seeking a Principal AI Engineer to own AI productization, governance, and scalable platform engineering across a portfolio of services. You will architect multi-tenant AI systems, build internal tooling, and lead security and governance design while mentoring engineering teams.

You will work closely with executives to align AI strategy with business outcomes, advocating best practices in CI/CD, testing, and production readiness in a hybrid New York environment.

Qualifications

• 12+ years in software engineering, data science, or related field.
• Hands-on experience deploying AI/ML models to public cloud infrastructure.
• Proven track record designing and operating multi-tenant AI services and LLM integrations.
• Strong governance, security, and risk management in AI/ML deployments.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with executive stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Own AI productization, governance playbook, and production-ready service patterns.
• Build internal tooling for AI services, evaluation, monitoring, and data infra.
• Define AI governance policies: permissions, data boundaries, and human-in-the-loop controls.
• Collaborate with Security, Legal, Compliance on SOC2/ISO-aligned controls and DPAs.
• Lead standards for deployment patterns using containers, IaC, and CI/CD templates.
• Mentor engineers and tech leads to improve delivery quality and production readiness.
• Serve as the go-to technical authority on AI/ML and platform architecture.
• Bridge technical and non-technical stakeholders with clear guidance.
