Job summary

Brex is seeking a leader to build and scale the Spend Conversion function, migrating large enterprise vendor spend onto Brex with an AI-native approach. You will collaborate with Capital One and external vendors, defining strategy, KPIs, and an entry model for a multi-party transformation.

You will partner across product, implementation, BD, and sales to bring workflows to market, while advising enterprise customers and shaping how Brex captures share-of-wallet with strategic vendors.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in B2B/commercial card, payments, or vendor operations.
• Experience building a 0-to-1 function with KPIs and cadences.
• Knowledge of card acceptance and merchant economics.
• Proven negotiation and influence with vendors and executives.
• Direct enterprise customer-facing experience.
• Builder mentality with cross-functional shipping alongside product, sales/BD.
• Leadership experience or potential to manage a team.

Responsibilities

• Build Spend Conversion function from ground up with strategy and KPIs for migrating non-card spend.
• Collaborate with Capital One and 3rd party vendors to design the program.
• Own end-to-end vendor spend migration from analysis to activation.
• Partner with product, implementation, BD, and sales to bring workflows to market.
• Advise enterprise customers and translate goals into migration plans.
• Design an AI-native approach to supplier enablement rather than legacy playbooks.
• Establish tracking, reporting, and incentives to make the function measurable.
• Hire and coach a team of specialists as the function scales.
