Job summary

Qualifications

• Four to eight years of AI/ML development experience.
• Experience building end-to-end AI products from PoC to deployment.
• Experience deploying in-house models and running inference.
• Knowledge of cloud infrastructure and MLOps (AWS/Google Cloud/Modal).
• Experience managing external contractors or vendors and communicating roadmaps.
• Proficiency in Python and modern ML tools; ability to work with non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Own and improve AI/ML systems using CV, NLP, and multimodal analysis.
• Turn PoCs into production features for expansion beyond math to ELA and science.
• Strengthen evaluation datasets, monitoring, and observability of models.
• Coordinate with external engineering vendors to align priorities and quality.
• Explain technical plans and concepts to the CEO and other non-technical stakeholders.
