Job summary

Guidehouse is seeking an AI/ML Solutions Architect (Agentic Systems) to design secure, scalable, cloud-native AI solutions for federal clients. You will own end-to-end architectures and lead hands-on implementation—from agentic AI systems to production-grade ML pipelines.

The role blends technical vision with delivery leadership, guiding tool selection, architecture, and standards, and collaborating across engineering, security, and stakeholders to prototype rapidly and deliver mission-ready

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in Engineering, IT, CS or related field.
• 8+ years in solutions architecture, software engineering, data engineering, or applied ML with production systems experience.
• Strong Python and SQL skills (data modeling, query optimization).
• Experience designing and delivering cloud-based AI/ML solutions end-to-end in secure environments.
• Hands-on with LangChain, Haystack, crewAI or similar frameworks.
• Knowledge of core Python ML/data libraries (NumPy, Pandas, Scikit-learn, NLTK, OpenCV).
• Familiarity with PyTorch or TensorFlow; Elasticsearch/OpenSearch experience.
• Experience with cloud SDKs (Boto3) and integration with cloud services.
• Advanced prompt engineering and asynchronous Python development.
• Familiarity with agentic AI frameworks and governance patterns.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement agentic AI systems enabling autonomous decision-making and workflow orchestration.
• Develop Generative AI applications for summarization, extraction, insights, and interfaces.
• Build and maintain scalable data pipelines for analytics and AI workloads.
• Apply advanced ML techniques to decision support and policy evaluation.
• Lead AI initiatives including RAG, retrieval quality optimization, and safety patterns.
• Prototype rapidly with stakeholders and ensure production-readiness.
• Lead deployment in AWS-first cloud environments using IaC and DevSecOps principles.
• Own end-to-end solution architecture: boundaries, data flows, security, observability, cost models.
