Job summary

Modern Football is seeking a seasoned engineering leader to define the vision and roadmap for our Knowledge & Context platform. You will architect scalable data ingestion pipelines from Gong, Slack, and internal systems, and design memory and orchestration infrastructure for multi-agent AI collaboration.

You will mentor an AI-native engineering team, drive technical decision-making across product and research, and translate complex architecture into actionable plans that accelerate real-time

Qualifications

• 3+ years leading engineering teams while remaining hands-on.
• Strong platform engineering, distributed systems and scalable data pipelines.
• Hands-on experience with RAG systems at scale and LLM orchestration frameworks.
• Proven track record of taking AI products from prototype to production.
• Ability to translate complex technical architecture into clear execution plans.

Responsibilities

• Own the architecture and roadmap of the Knowledge & Context platform.
• Build scalable data ingestion pipelines (Gong, Slack, internal systems, etc.).
• Lead the development of memory infrastructure and state-awareness.
• Design orchestration and middleware for multi-agent collaboration.
• Manage and mentor a high-performing, AI-native engineering team.
• Serve as the technical authority in cross-functional decision-making.
