SanDisk in Milpitas seeks a Principal, System Product Engineer to own end-to-end AI-infra product development across compute, memory, storage, and interconnects. You will drive workload-driven validation and readiness from definition through ramp, coordinating across design, firmware, test, and operations teams.

This role provides direct executive visibility and the chance to shape system-level strategy, while promoting AI-enabled engineering practices to accelerate analysis and test

Qualifications

• BS/MS/Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related field
• 6–12+ years in system product engineering, validation, or test development
• Strong understanding of system architecture across compute, memory, storage, and interconnects

Responsabilités

• Own end-to-end system product development across product development stacks for AI infra products.
• Drive early system learning through simulation-based validation before hardware, firmware, and silicon maturity
• Translate product requirements into workload-driven validation strategies, linking real workload behavior to system-level coverage and product quality AI-Enhanced Test Strategy & Validation
• Define test strategies using workload-informed coverage and data-driven screening
• Lead system-level failure analysis across NPI and qualification phases
