Toyota Financial Services seeks a Principal AI Governance & Security Engineer to build and operate enterprise AI governance and security controls. You will own lifecycle governance from intake to production, embedding with delivery teams to ship compliant, auditable, and safe AI/agentic solutions at scale.

The role combines governance, security, and forward-deployed engineering with a hands-on software background, reporting to the AI & ML Platforms leadership.

Formación

• 12+ years of software engineering with AI governance and information-security experience.
• Experience designing enterprise AI governance frameworks and production governance processes.
• Translating security, risk, privacy, and compliance requirements into executable controls and tests.
• Knowledge of SR 11-7, NIST AI RMF, EU AI Act, and ISO/IEC 42001.

Responsabilidades

• Shape the AI governance framework and lifecycle controls across intake, risk classification, control design, approval workflows, monitoring, and retirement.
• Design and implement AI security controls: threat modeling, guardrails, least-privilege access, and incident response playbooks.
• Embed with use-case teams to ship executable controls within governed boundaries.
• Lead design reviews and set engineering standards across governance and security control stacks.
• Mentor engineers across governance and security disciplines.
