Job summary

IntePros is seeking a Director, AI Engineering to lead architectural direction and delivery of enterprise AI initiatives for a Philadelphia-based client. This role involves remote work with monthly/quarterly travel to the Philadelphia office, partnering with cybersecurity, quality, and data teams to implement scalable, secure AI solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field.
• 10+ years of software/AI engineering leadership experience.
• 5+ years leading technical teams and vendor-delivered solutions.
• Experience as senior technical authority for AI initiatives, including evaluation and governance.
• Experience with Generative AI, LLMs, RAG, agentic AI systems, and enterprise AI platforms.

Responsibilities

• Provide architectural direction and technical oversight for enterprise AI initiatives.
• Define AI engineering standards, reference architectures, and best practices.
• Lead AI solution delivery across customer-facing and internal use cases.
• Develop patterns for generative AI, RAG, agentic workflows, and AI-enabled automation.
• Oversee AI integrations across enterprise platforms and compute platforms.
• Drive ML lifecycle management, monitoring, observability, and continuous improvement.
• Ensure regulatory, security, privacy, and responsible AI compliance.
