Job summary

Nubank is seeking an engineer who has built with AI in production. You will design agentic workflows, integrate LLMs into internal tools, and turn manual processes into AI-assisted ones used by thousands of Nubankers.

You will own the lifecycle from problem discovery to production hardening and monitoring, ensuring reliable, high-quality AI systems. The role emphasizes prompts, context, agents, evaluations, and integrations over infrastructure, with cloud fluency preferred and strong product

Qualifications

Shipped LLM systems in production: real user impact.
Hands-on AI engineering with prompts, context, and tools.
Experience measuring AI output, evals, and failure modes.
Strong software foundation in Python, TypeScript or Clojure.
AI product sense to decide when LLMs are appropriate.
Nice-to-have knowledge of workflow automation platforms and cloud services.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and ship LLM-powered agents and workflows that automate complex internal processes end-to-end.
Work hands-on with frontier models and modern AI stack (tool calls, structured outputs, RAG).
Own full lifecycle of AI systems from discovery to production hardening and monitoring.
Build evaluation harnesses, guardrails, and feedback loops for trusted AI in production.
Integrate enterprise tools (Slack, Google Workspace, Jira, internal APIs) into AI-enabled workflows.
Drive AI adoption strategy and governance balancing security with velocity.
