Job summary

AACI Group is building an AI-native insurance holding company, and Five Bays is its flagship personal lines agency. We seek a General Manager with full P&L authority to run and scale the agency, oversee sales/ops staff, and shape day-to-day operations from automation to data pipelines.

You will own growth across states and carriers, drive revenue and margins, and implement KPI dashboards. The role requires hands-on leadership in a high-growth environment with direct CEO reporting.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in business operations or general management with direct P&L ownership; insurance experience is a plus, not required.
• Track record managing a sales/ops team toward revenue and margin targets.
• Experience diagnosing broken processes and shipping fixes, not just identifying problems.
• Bias to action in an early-stage environment with ambiguity.
• Comfort working with data: CRM platforms, quoting/automation tools, or agency systems preferred.
• Experience building KPI reporting and financial reconciliation across multiple sources.

Responsibilities

• Own Five Bays P&L, revenue, margin, budget, and headcount; report against plan to the CEO.
• Manage sales and operations staff, set targets, coach performance, and ensure goal attainment.
• Set growth plan across states, carriers, and products; define the operating plan to execute it.
• Drive sales performance: quote volume, bind rate, conversion to meet revenue targets.
• Build KPI dashboards and report metrics to leadership on a cadence.
• Reconcile financials and production metrics; flag discrepancies early.
• Audit data quality in quoting automations and fix CRM workflow issues.
• Own carrier onboarding, standardize intake, and reduce time-to-live for appointments.
