Job summary

Five Bays is the flagship AI-native insurance agency under AACI Group, seeking a General Manager to run and scale operations with full P&L authority. You will oversee sales, operations, and the data pipelines that feed quoting automations, partnering with engineering and product to fix internal tools.

The role requires hands-on leadership, strong SQL, and experience building KPI dashboards to drive growth across multiple states and carriers.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in business operations or general management with P&L ownership.
• Strong data mindset and ability to build KPI dashboards.
• Experience diagnosing broken processes and shipping fixes.
• Bias to action in an early-stage, ambiguous environment.
• Proficiency with SQL; familiarity with CRM/automation tools or agency management systems.

Responsibilities

• Own the Five Bays P&L, revenue, margin, operating budget, and headcount; report to CEO.
• Manage sales and operations staff; set targets and coach performance.
• Set growth plan across states, carriers, and product lines; build operating plan.
