Customer.io is seeking a curious, AI-forward Fullstack SDK Engineer to join our SDK team and help developers integrate with Customer.io. You’ll build cross-platform SDKs and developer tools across Android, iOS, Node, and Go, and lead SDK initiatives end to end.

You’ll partner with product and design to deliver a top-tier developer experience and use AI tools to accelerate changes across codebases. This role emphasizes autonomy, strong communication, and customer empathy.

Qualificações

• Expert-level competency in at least one established programming language and strong API design fundamentals.
• Experience building and evolving production-quality software with clear system thinking.
• Fluency with current LLMs and agentic coding tools to navigate unfamiliar codebases.
• High autonomy in ambiguous environments with proactive problem solving.
• Strong written and verbal communication to explain decisions and tradeoffs.
• Ability to work across multiple languages and stacks; prior experience in every language is not required.

Responsabilidades

• Build and evolve Customer.io’s SDKs across platforms including Android, iOS, Node, and Go.
• Lead SDK initiatives end to end: set technical direction, write code, manage releases and outcomes.
• Improve delivery infrastructure: CI, automated testing, versioning, publishing and release processes.
• Collaborate with product and design to deliver a great developer experience.
• Apply AI agents to multi-file changes across unfamiliar codebases and languages.
• Engage with customers to understand engineers’ needs and provide solutions.
