Job summary

EPAM Systems, Inc. is seeking a Full-Stack Software Engineering Manager to lead frontend initiatives for secure, enterprise-grade AI agents. You will guide a team of engineers, shape frontend architectures, and drive streaming UX across web and mobile.

Responsibilities include mentoring engineers, collaborating with product/design, and advancing component libraries, design systems, and SDKs for GenAI tools. Strong leadership and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in JavaScript, React, and TypeScript.
• Experience leading or mentoring engineering teams.
• Strong frontend development across web apps and APIs.
• Hands-on with GenAI UIs, conversational UX, or real-time streaming interfaces.
• English proficiency (B2+) with strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the technical roadmap for frontend architectures, libraries, and real-time streaming features for AI agents across web and mobile.
• Design high-performance frontend solutions with low latency, SSE/WebSocket streaming, and AI interaction patterns.
• Lead and mentor engineers, promoting quality and shared component libraries and AI design standards.
• Support frontend interfaces and SDKs enabling AI agent capabilities for employees and customers.
• Define architectural approaches for Agentic Experiences (AX) on web and mobile with real-time streaming.
• Promote frontend observability, accessibility (WCAG/a11y), and operational excellence across services.
• Develop reusable full-stack integration frameworks, component hooks, and platform capabilities for embedding GenAI tools.
• Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, and backend engineers on AI copilots and virtual agents patterns.
• Provide technical leadership and day-to-day guidance to delivery teams.
