Job summary

Turing, based in San Francisco, seeks a Senior Research Engineer to own end-to-end data and RL environment creation for frontier AI labs and enterprise customers. You’ll lead data pipelines, validations, and tools development, coordinating researchers, engineers, and contractors to scale quality datasets and evals for coding agents.

You’ll drive hands-on technical leadership, manage cross-functional teams, and interface with frontier labs to align roadmaps with customer needs, while delivering

Qualifications

• Post-training work on SWE tasks or coding agents development.
• Engineering management experience including hiring and QA setups.
• Fluency in Python and proficiency in one or more major languages (C++, Java, Go, Rust, or JS).

Responsibilities

• Own data quality and end-to-end data pipelines for coding agents.
• Define and implement validation workflows and automated checks.
• Lead cross-functional teams across software engineers, researchers, and data annotators.
• Interface with frontier AI labs to align data offerings with client roadmaps.
