Job summary

Turing is seeking a Senior Research Engineer to advance frontier AI systems, create research-grade data and RL environments, and translate insights into scalable solutions for enterprise workflows.

You will design rigorous experiments, work with cross-functional teams, and contribute to both foundational research and applied AI development across synthetic data generation and evaluation benchmarks.

Qualifications

• PhD or Master’s in artificial intelligence, machine learning, computer science, or a closely related field.
• Strong foundation in ML and practical experience designing experiments and evaluating models.
• Experience with modern AI tooling and experimentation workflows.
• Demonstrated research engineering ability with rigorous scientific judgment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct frontier AI research and formulate questions guiding product and strategy.
• Build research-grade datasets, experiments, prototypes, and evaluation frameworks.
• Train, test, and evaluate models using modern AI tooling and analyze results.
• Collaborate with Research, Engineering, Product, and Operations to scale findings.
