Job summary

Autodesk seeks a Principal Product Manager for the Applied AI, Data Science, and Data Engineering team within Enterprise Systems and Experience. You will own the enterprise data foundation and develop scalable AI and data products with measurable outcomes.

You will translate strategy into roadmaps, guide prioritization, and drive adoption across the data hub, AI-ready data products, and self-service analytics.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of product management experience, including data/AI/ML platform roadmaps.
• Strong fluency in data, analytics, and AI concepts to partner with engineering/data science.
• Proven experience delivering cross-functional, complex initiatives with governance.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for executive stakeholders.
• Hands-on with Jira, Airtable, Confluence/Wiki for product delivery.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Translate product strategy into detailed roadmaps, milestones, and measurable outcomes.
• Own roadmap development across enterprise data hub and AI-ready data products.
• Define dashboards and reporting as data and AI products.
• Defend prioritization decisions and communicate trade-offs clearly to engineering and stakeholders.
• Lead backlog refinement across a high volume of stakeholder requests with a value-forward lens.
• Convert business needs into product requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and milestones.
• Partner with engineering, data science, architecture, governance, and business stakeholders to scope and deliver roadmap items.
• Track roadmap progress, risks, dependencies, blockers, and commitments to maintain delivery alignment.
• Drive adoption and product health measures, including usage, data quality, and realized value.
• Provide executive roadmap updates and business impact summaries.
