Job summary

Talener is seeking a Lead Software Engineer (Python/React/AI Applications) to drive architecture, development, and scalability of AI-powered SaaS products. This hands-on leadership role balances technical strategy with active coding and mentoring, requiring deep Python/React expertise, AWS, and AI experience.

The role is based in New York City with a hybrid model (2-3 days onsite). Compensation includes base salary, bonus, and equity, plus comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience with leadership responsibility.
• Strong full-stack experience with Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, and React.
• Experience building and scaling SaaS applications in production.
• Hands-on AI-enabled product development including agent-based or LLM-powered solutions.
• Experience with AI frameworks and tooling such as LangChain, LangGraph, LangFuse, or similar.
• Knowledge of AWS, serverless, and cloud-native design.
• Experience with PostgreSQL or similar relational databases.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities
