Job summary

Oxbo Forage Division is seeking a self-motivated engineer to deliver new products, solve complex problems, and guide work directions for engineers and designers.

The role emphasizes CAD design, collaboration across Manufacturing, Purchasing, Service, Marketing, and Materials, and adherence to lean manufacturing and safety standards. A strong background in agricultural/mechanical engineering and 10+ years of experience are ideal.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's of Science in Engineering (Agricultural/Mechanical) required.
• 10+ years related experience.
• Familiarity with Epicor ERP System is preferred.
• Experience working with SolidWorks, Creo or equivalent 3D modeling package.
• ANSYS experience is a plus.
• Possess a strong mechanical knowledge of agriculture equipment or related systems.
• Agricultural background preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drive product delivery and resolve complex problems with robust solutions.
• Communicate project objectives to Manufacturing, Purchasing, Service, Marketing, Materials.
• Use CAD to design and develop components within lean, safety, and drawing standards.
• Evaluate designs for performance, safety, reliability, and cost.
• Prepare layouts, drawings, specs and BOMs for production needs.
• Provide technical assistance for prototype, pilot, and production support.
• Establish work priorities for self and others.
• Assist with process improvements and design modifications for HS products.
• Maintain clean, safe work area and follow safety procedures.
• Adhere to quality protocols and company processes.
• Perform duties professionally as per the HS handbook.
• Perform related duties as assigned.
