Job summary

Oxbo Forage Division seeks a self-motivated engineer to lead electrical and hydraulic system development and collaborate with engineers and designers on new product delivery. The role includes creating schematics, 3D routings, and BOM maintenance, with hands-on troubleshooting of prototypes and field equipment.

You will coordinate with software engineers and production teams to ensure design integrity, safety, and adherence to specifications across projects.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience delivering projects in electrical and hydraulic domains.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Control/Automation, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
  • Core experience with Zuken E3, Windchill/SolidWorks PDM, and 3D routing tools.
  • Experience in agricultural machinery or related mechatronic systems.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver new products and solve complex problems; prioritize and delegate work directions to engineers/designers.
  • Develop hydraulic and electrical systems to meet product requirements.
  • Create and maintain electrical/hydraulic schematics in E3 and SolidWorks/Creo.
  • Design 3D routings with mechanical engineers for optimal paths.
  • Investigate and troubleshoot prototypes and customer-site equipment.
  • Maintain BOMs, options and variants for systems.
  • Support production with technical challenges and supply issues.

Job description

Oxbo Forage Division is seeking a self-motivated individual with a passion for agriculture. This position will have responsibilities which include delivery of new products, solving complex problems, and prioritizing and delegating work directions to engineers and/or designers.

  • Develop hydraulic and electrical systems to meet product requirements.
  • Solve problems as they relate to these systems.
  • Collaborate with software engineers on system requirements
  • Create and maintain in E3 and Solidworks/Creo systems the electrical/hydraulic schematics.
  • Design 3D routings with Mechanical Engineers for the best routing path, including defining attachment points
  • Investigate and troubleshoot both prototypes and machines in use at customer sites.
  • Involved in research and development projects in order to continue to improve the work
  • Ensure that production and installation drawings and drawings of electrical and hydraulic components meet the required specifications
  • Create and maintain bills of materials (BOM), options and variants for the electrical and hydraulic systems
  • Assist production with technical challenges, supply issues or other production-related problems
  • Experience with data acquisition equipment as it relates to the hydraulic field.

Qualifications

  • 5+ Years experience with a proven track record of completing projects in the electrical and hydraulic domains
  • Education: Bachelor’s in Electrical, Control/Automation, Mechanical Engineering, or related fields;
  • Core Experience: Zuken E3, Windchill/Solidworks PDM, 3D routing tools
  • Domain Exposure: Agricultural machinery, off-highway, automotive, or mechatronic systems.
