Qualifications

• 3+ years of people management experience.
• Familiarity with John Deere or competitive equipment and agronomic trends.
• Knowledge of business, financial, and management practices in related industries.
• Exceptional customer relationship skills, with focus on rapport and trust.
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
• Ability to work seasonal hours as required.
• 3+ years of experience in service repair with strong diagnostic skills.
• Proficient knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems for turf equipment and small engines.
• Experience in team leadership and collaborative teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of John Deere Agriculture Technicians.
• Perform setup, maintenance, and repair tasks for lawn and garden equipment.
• Assess repair orders with technicians and support repairs as needed.
• Guide diagnosing machine problems for technicians and apprentices.
• Communicate effectively with customers and team for excellent service.
• Maintain inventory, tools, and equipment in good condition.
• Keep work area safe, clean, and organized per safety rules.
• Support Service Manager in organizing quarterly safety meetings.
• Act as Service Manager in absence of supervisor.
• Approve release of equipment for delivery to customers.
• Provide feedback on performance for technicians and staff.
• Assist in tracking Product Improvement Programs.
