Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology seeks a Lead Agilist to oversee agile execution across multiple task orders within PMO. You will guide teams in adopting agile mindsets, drive delivery leadership for IDIQ programs, and champion continuous improvement through metrics and coaching.

Ideal candidates bring 10+ years in fast‑paced agile environments, strong SAFe and Scrum experience, and a proven track record of leading large initiatives and cross‑team collaboration.

• 5+ years deploying enterprise‑wide reporting tools and visualizations.
• 5+ years leading teams with ability to plan, organize, and implement significant strategic initiatives.
• Experience coordinating schedules, workflows, and cross‑team planning.
• Skilled in backlog management and documentation.

What You’ll Achieve

The Lead Agilist plays a strategic, high-impact role at the IDIQ level, embedded within the PMO. You will oversee the operational execution of the agile methodology across all task orders. This person will guide teams in using agile methodologies - someone who applies agility as a mindset, not a framework. In this role, you will:

• Agile/SAFe Delivery Leadership Across the IDIQ
• Cadence, Planning, and Execution (Teams and Program)
• Metrics, Transparency, and Continuous Improvement
• Coaching, Mentoring, and Standards
• Alignment Across Task Orders and Shared Services
• Tooling, Automation, and Workflow Optimization
• Customer and Stakeholder Engagement on Ways of Working
• Impediment Management and Risk Support

Required Qualifications

• BS/BA or equivalent experience
• TS/SCI with Polygraph
• 10+ years of experience in a fast‑paced Agile development environment
• 5+ years of experience deploying enterprise‑wide reporting tools and visualizations
• 5+ years of experience leading teams with demonstrated ability to plan, organize, and implement significant strategic initiatives.
• Experience coordinating schedules, workflows, and cross‑team planning
• Skilled in backlog management and documentation
• Skills and Abilities:

Desired Skills and Experience

• Previous experience building / creating PowerBI dashboards
• Certified SCRUM Master (CSM)

The likely salary range for this position is $169,604 - $229,464. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
