Job summary
General Dynamics Information Technology in Chantilly, VA seeks a Lead Agilist to oversee Agile/SAFe delivery across an IDIQ program within the PMO. You will guide teams in applying agility as a mindset, partner with Product Owners and Scrum Masters, and ensure alignment with contract requirements while driving predictable outcomes.
The role requires TS/SCI with poly, 10+ years in Agile, and experience building dashboards in PowerBI.
Qualifications
- BS/BA or equivalent experience.
- TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph.
- 10+ years in a fast-paced Agile development environment.
- 5+ years deploying enterprise-wide reporting tools and visualizations.
- 5+ years leading teams and strategic initiatives.
- Experience coordinating schedules, workflows, and cross-team planning.
- Skills: Agile Scrum, Kanban, risk management, stakeholder communication.
Responsibilities
- Lead Agile/SAFe delivery across the IDIQ program.
- Guide adoption of Agile practices across teams and orders.
- Facilitate program-level ceremonies: planning, demos, Inspect & Adapt.
- Collaborate with tech leads, POs, and Scrum Masters on backlog refinement.
- Define and track Agile metrics and provide transparent progress updates.
- Coach Scrum Masters and Product Owners in SAFe principles.
- Align Agile approaches with contract requirements and architecture.
- Manage impediments and risks with PMO and stakeholders.
- Oversee tooling and workflows (Jira, DevOps) to improve flow.
