Job summary

SmartRecruiters, Inc. is seeking an experienced LeadAgentic Software Engineer to build and ship features across client apps on iOS/iPadOS, Android, or Electron/Angular. This hands‑on role emphasizes production code and AI-assisted tooling to move quickly without sacrificing quality.

You will collaborate with Product Management and UX to turn defined features into shipped experiences, optimize performance, ensure security, and contribute to CI/CD across platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• 8+ years of professional client/frontend software development experience, with deep, production‑level expertise in one of: iOS, Android, or Electron/Angular.
• Hands-on experience with graphics/rendering technologies relevant to your platform (Core Graphics/Metal, Canvas/Skia, WebGL).
• Experience developing backend APIs using modern stacks (e.g., .NET/ASP.NET Core, Node.js, Java Spring, Python FastAPI).
• At least a year of hands-on use of AI engineering tools (Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot) with practical AI/LLM integration experience.
• Expert-level proficiency in the language matching your primary platform (Swift, Kotlin, or TypeScript).
• Strong expertise in the native UI framework for your platform (SwiftUI/UIKit, Jetpack Compose, or Electron/Angular).
• Experience with architectural patterns (MVVM, Clean Architecture, MVI, or component-based).
• Experience consuming REST APIs.
• Experience with automated testing and CI/CD pipelines.
• Secure credential storage experience (Keychain, Android Keystore).
• Telemetry/observability tooling experience (Datadog, Firebase, platform logs).

• Atleast a year of hands-on, pragmatic use of modern AI engineering tools (Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot, etc.), with practical experience integrating AI/LLM capabilities where relevant (agentic patterns, evals, latency/cost/reliability tradeoffs).
• Expert-levelproficiencyin the language matching your primary platform (Swift, Kotlin, or TypeScript).
