Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton in McLean, VA seeks an experienced Agentic AI Security Engineer, Lead, to design and secure generative AI solutions and multi-agent workflows. You will evaluate risks, implement controls, and guide architecture decisions across teams.

The role requires implementing security practices, conducting reviews, and leading engineering efforts to move AI from experimentation to secure deployment. TS/SCI eligibility may be needed.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in software or AI/ML engineering
• Experience with Python and Git
• Experience with LLM-based tool usage and agent orchestration
• Experience in system architectures with APIs and data pipelines
• Knowledge of NIST security and AI risk management
• Ability to obtain a SECRET clearance

Responsibilities

• Design secure architectures for generative AI apps, agents, and multi-agent systems
• Develop reference implementations to demonstrate security controls
• Assess AI systems for risks like prompt injections and data exposure
• Implement controls for identity, least privilege, execution isolation, and tool authorization
• Create architecture diagrams and data flow models for trust boundaries
• Lead design reviews and raise technical bar for the team
