Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a senior AI engineer to lead development of conversational AI platforms and multi-agent orchestration across onshore and offshore teams. This remote role supports flexible work arrangements while delivering high-impact AI solutions for clients.

You will design and implement LLM-based agents, handle tool integrations, and ensure robust security, governance and performance, with a strong emphasis on retrieval-augmented generation and prompt engineering.

Qualifications

• Experience building production-grade Generative AI applications.
• Experience with multi-agent orchestration and agent workflows.
• Knowledge of Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) is a plus.
• Strong skills in prompt engineering, evaluation, grounding, and security governance.
• Experience deploying secure, scalable enterprise AI solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead Dev team across onshore and Offshore.
• Hands on Dev, Design and architecture based on the client requirement.
• Support QA and UAT team.
