Job summary

Carrier Global Corporation is seeking an Agentic AI Engineer Lead for the development, deployment, and scaling of Agentic AI technologies across engineering. This full-time, onsite role supports a Monday–Friday day schedule and can be based at Carrier facilities in Indianapolis, IN or Kennesaw, GA.

You will lead AI agent design, governance, and production deployments, mentor engineers, and drive adoption of innovative AI solutions across the engineering organization.

Qualifications

• Master's degree (or PhD) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, AI or Data Science with 5+ years of experience.
• 3+ years of Agentic AI industry experience.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% annually (domestic/international) and adjust hours for global teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, and deployment of AI agents and agentic workflows to accelerate engineering processes.
• Define and execute Agentic AI strategy, roadmap, standards, and best practices across Carrier Engineering.
• Architect AI-powered solutions using LLMs, AI agents, RAG, and orchestration frameworks.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary engineering teams to deliver high-value AI solutions.
• Establish governance, security, evaluation, and responsible AI practices for enterprise deployments.
• Mentor engineers and provide technical leadership in AI agent development and deployment.
