Job summary

JPMorganChase is seeking a Lead Software Engineer in Jersey City, NJ to develop scalable, secure cloud-native applications and lead AI-assisted engineering practices. You will design and deploy resilient microservices on AWS, implement IaC with Terraform, and guide teams in responsible AI usage.

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience.
• Experience leading AI-assisted software development tools with code review, testing, and security validation.
• Strong understanding of responsible AI use in engineering workflows and secure practices.
• Proficiency in Python-based back-end development and microservices.
• Experience with AWS, Terraform, and CI/CD in production environments.

Responsibilities

• Execute creative software solutions and troubleshoot complex problems.
• Deliver cloud-native, microservices-based applications on AWS with high availability.
• Design, develop, and deploy resilient applications using Terraform and IaC patterns.
• Architect agentic AI applications using LangChain, LangGraph, AutoGen, CrewAI, or AWS Bedrock.
• Drive AI-assisted engineering practices and secure coding standards across the team.
• Lead communities of practice to推广 new technologies and patterns.
• Investigate and resolve issues to ensure zero-downtime releases.
