Job summary

BMC Software seeks a Lead AI Engineer for the USA (B) to design and build enterprise-grade agentic AI systems. You will lead autonomous agents, orchestrate multi-agent interactions, and integrate with tools, APIs, and databases in a large-scale enterprise environment.

The role requires deep expertise with LLMs, agentic frameworks, and production-grade observability and governance. You will mentor engineers and drive production standards across teams.

Qualifications

• 8–13 years of relevant experience in AI/ML or software engineering.
• Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, AI, ML, or related field (or equivalent).
• Hands-on experience with leading LLMs (OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, Llama, etc.).
• Familiarity with agentic frameworks and SDKs; strong prompt engineering and orchestration skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade agentic AI applications using modern LLMs and AI frameworks.
• Build autonomous AI agents capable of planning, reasoning, decision-making, and task execution.
• Develop multi-agent systems and orchestrate interactions between agents, tools, APIs, and enterprise apps.
• Integrate AI agents with internal/external services via APIs, databases, messaging, and workflows.
• Build and deploy RAG solutions using vector databases and enterprise knowledge sources.
