Job summary

KinderCare Learning Companies is seeking a Lead Teacher to guide and mentor teachers, implement a child-focused curriculum, and create a safe, engaging learning environment. You will partner with families to deliver outstanding care and education, and collaborate with center staff to drive enrollment and accreditation goals.

The role requires a CDA or NAEYC candidacy, 2–3 years of ECE experience, and a strong ability to communicate with families in English.

Qualifications

• Outstanding customer service skills and the ability to multi-task effectively.
• Possess active CDA Credential or meet NAEYC candidacy requirements.
• Approved state trainer preferred.
• 2-3 years Early Childhood Education experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education preferred.
• Meet state qualifications or willingness to obtain.
• CPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain.
• Proficient computer use and ability to lift 40 pounds.
• Ability to communicate in English with children and parents.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and mentor teachers in the classroom; model behaviors and provide feedback.
• Implement curriculum consistently with each child’s needs.
• Create a safe, nurturing environment for play and learning.
• Partner with parents to support best care and education for children.
• Support center success by working with staff and leadership on enrollment and engagement.
• Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, licensing authorities, and partners.
