Job summary

Blue Origin LLC in the Greater Seattle Area is seeking a Sr Structural Engineer to lead design and analysis of primary and secondary structures for the New Glenn upper stage. You will coordinate with subsystem teams, provide on-site manufacturing support, and guide junior engineers in stress, stability, and fracture analyses.

This hands-on role requires a B.S. in engineering with 7+ years in launch vehicles or aerospace structures, strong CAD (Creo), and solid experience with FEM codes and ASME

Qualifications

• B.S. in engineering and 7+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience with launch vehicles or aerospace structural design.
• Proficiency in hand calculations and FEM.

Responsibilities

• Design and analysis of primary and secondary structures for a launch vehicle upper stage.
• Coordinate with subsystem teams on structural interfaces and provide on-site manufacturing support.
• Mentor junior engineers in stress, stability, and fracture analyses.
