Job summary

BARNES is seeking a production/process engineer with aerospace/manufacturing experience to lead repair programs and develop efficient procedures. The role includes creating CAD models and process sheets while ensuring compliance with FAA regulations and customer requirements.

The candidate should have a engineering degree, familiarity with ERP/MRP systems, and strong problem-solving and communication skills to coordinate with multiple departments and suppliers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in an Engineering discipline.
• Experience in aerospace/manufacturing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the processing of assigned part families / programs and build work orders for each part.
• Establish operation sequences, work instructions and best practices for repair procedures.
• Provide technical support for procurement, manufacturing, receiving, repair and certification of repairs.
• Evaluate parts for repair feasibility, producibility, cost, tooling and outside processing.
• Prepare dimensional analyses and CAD models/drawings using GD&T standards; communicate process details via MOS.
