Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent and minimum 6 years relevant experience or 2 years post-secondary/Associate degree with minimum 2 years related experience.
• Experience interpreting 2-D drawings and knowledge of GD&T.
• Experience in mechanical inspections utilizing inspection tools (calipers, micrometers, surface plate, electronic and mechanical height gages, pin gages, comparator).
• One-year certificate in a quality related field from college or technical school desired.
• ANSI/J-STD-001, IPC-A-610, and IPC-620 latest revisions and ESD Electrostatic Discharge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Interpret manufacturing drawings and determine acceptance or rejection of hardware.
• Ensure documentation accuracy and compliance with internal procedures.
• Inspect electrical and mechanical hardware to meet acceptance criteria using GD&T and measuring tools.
• Perform detailed visual and dimensional inspections, including microscopy and measurement collection.
• Document nonconformances and support complex disposition decisions with engineers.
• Collaborate with engineers, product line managers, quality engineers, and customer or government representatives.
