PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a seasoned Materials and Processing Engineer in Savannah, GA to lead major aerospace programs and develop innovative material solutions. You will balance performance, cost, schedule, and quality while guiding engineering teams and coordinating with suppliers.

The role requires extensive independent work, strong communication across functions, and deep knowledge of materials and processing for aircraft environments. Onsite full-time position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
• 10+ years of focused experience or 15+ years across multiple disciplines.
• Strong problem-solving and innovative solution development skills.
• Ability to balance technical requirements with cost, schedule, and quality.
• Experience working independently with technical authority.

Responsibilities

• Lead major engineering programs and complex technical initiatives.
• Select methods and criteria to resolve Materials and Processes issues.
• Serve as technical authority for teams and stakeholders.
• Develop creative solutions and engineering guidelines.
• Coordinate with external suppliers and multidisciplinary teams.
• Review designs using SmarTeam and CATIA.
• Develop EAR-approved test plans and results reports.
• Provide manufacturing liaison and MRB integration.
