Job summary

Senra Systems, Inc. in California is seeking a Lead Technician to guide a small team on the production floor, building electrical harness assemblies for aerospace and defense customers, while upholding safety, quality, and schedule standards.

You will read complex schematics, perform soldering and harness routing, and collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality, and Logistics to improve manufacturability and output.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3+ years as a technician in a fast-paced production environment.
• Proficient in reading complex wire harness schematics and determining order of operations.
• Knowledge of soldering, wire stripping, crimping, harness routing and strain relief required.

Responsibilities

• Autonomously build electrical harness assemblies for aerospace and defense customers.
• Provide technical and operational direction to team members to ensure quality and schedule are met.
• Demonstrate proper techniques to new apprentice technicians.
• Inspect hardware in-process to ensure conformance to specifications.
• Implement daily task checklists to maintain the workcenter.
• Assign and prioritize daily work per production schedule and communicate plan to team and stakeholders.
• Work cross-functionally to ensure adequate support for nominal production operations.
• Foster collaboration with Manufacturing, Quality, and Logistics to enhance manufacturability and output.
