Job summary

Senra Systems is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to own complex wire harness programs from planning to delivery. You will create work instructions, formboards, and tooling; drive process improvements; and serve as the technical liaison with customers while working across production, quality, and supply chain.

The role emphasizes independent work, deep technical expertise, and delivering on quality and delivery targets within an aerospace-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or STEM field.
• 8+ years of hands-on manufacturing experience.
• 5+ years in manufacturing engineering in fast-paced environments.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong customer-facing communication and relationship management.
• Proficiency in CAD for drawings and tooling designs.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning and coordination of complex harness builds with work instructions and tooling.
• Develop standards and processes enabling autonomous production.
• Improve quality, efficiency, and throughput through benchmarking.
• Evaluate parts/processes and determine optimal assembly paths.
• Commission equipment and optimize production flow.
• Serve as technical liaison with customers and cross-functional teams.
• Maintain 5S/lean practices and aerospace quality standards.
• Create and maintain engineering documentation aligned with IPC-620/NASA 8739.4.
