Job summary

Airbus Aerosystems Kinston, Inc. seeks a Composite & Bonding Specialist Manager to lead a team responsible for assembling complex aerostructures and integrating systems on the shop floor.

You will oversee processes from subassembly to final assembly, ensuring parts meet stringent aviation standards and customer specifications. The role requires strong leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and hands-on experience with bonding, assembly, and testing using mechanical and electrical test

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams including Quality, Assembly, Procurement, and Supply Chain.
• Experience managing a statement of work on time and within budget; NPI exposure is a plus.
• Ability to work any shift and travel up to 5%.

Responsibilities

• Lead team in developing solutions to complex problems requiring ingenuity and creativity.
• Oversee fabrication and assembly of complex aerostructures to meet production requirements and customer acceptance.
• Coordinate with engineering, management, suppliers, and customers to meet product requirements.
• Additional duties as assigned.
