Job summary

Penn Medicine is seeking a Lead APP for the Mental Health Engagement Navigation and Delivery (MEND) Service to provide clinical leadership, operational coordination, and mentorship for APPs. You will collaborate with physician and operational leaders to optimize care delivery and strengthen APP integration within the service line.

You will help develop staffing, workflows, and models of care while driving professional development and ensuring high-quality patient outcomes in a multidisciplinary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
• Current certification and licensure as an NP or PA.
• Clinical experience relevant to the MEND Service.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Commitment to advancing APP practice, team-based care, and patient-centered outcomes.
• BLS Required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care as an integral member of the MEND team.
• Manage and coordinate care within scope of practice and clinical privileges.
• Serve as a clinical resource and mentor for APP colleagues and team members.
• Demonstrate advanced clinical judgment and commitment to patient outcomes.
• Support APP performance development, ongoing education, and professional growth.
• Collaborate on quality initiatives, credentialing, and program development.
