Job summary

GI Associates & Endoscopy Center - Flowood, part of GI Alliance, is seeking a State-licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide scheduled patient services under physician supervision in hospital and clinic settings.

Responsibilities include completing patient histories and physicals, ordering labs, counseling patients and families, and maintaining credentialing requirements. A GI experience is preferred; flexible scheduling supports patient care and operations.

Qualifications

• State-licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
• Gastrointestinal experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide scheduled patient services under the direct supervision and responsibility of a physician in both a hospital & clinic setting.
• Complete patient histories and physicals.
• Determine tentative diagnosis and order appropriate laboratory tests.
• Counsel patient and family on health and disease.
• Participate in continuing education, training, and credentialing requirements at assigned medical facilities.
• Work flexible schedule as dictated by business needs and operations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
